In this exhibition, just at the moment when the viewer’s gaze is engaged somewhere between raw art and academic art, a concept known as the overlap of sensory and visual experience- what we call fusion- elevates the act of seeing to one of contemplation. In the viewer's mind, a dialogue based on what is seen and what is understood emerges within this overlap and coexistence. In this exhibition, you will simultaneously observe the paintings of children with intellectual disabilities from the Narges orphanage alongside the artworks of academic artists.
